Building a Stronger Central New Jersey

PRAB builds thriving communities in Central New Jersey by providing opportunities for diverse individuals and families to become self-sufficient, and work for a better life for themselves and others. We count on our over 120 partnering community-serving organizations, businesses, public and elected officials, and funders, to leverage resources, supports, and opportunities that facilitate socio-economic stability and development.

Our many programs and services are designed to ensure sensitivity to the values and cultures of the diverse community we serve. We’re also proud to serve and advocate on behalf of people whose needs may otherwise go unmet due to language barriers, discrimination, and lack of cultural competency.

Onawa Hawkins Gray, North Brunswick resident

“We were treated like people; not a number. They listened to our situation, which at first seemed impossible to resolve….“You are treated with compassion which helps to make a very difficult time easier. I am very grateful to them.”

Corporation for 20 years as a Truck Driver, and Deyma was employed by the NJ Department of Corrections as a Food Transporter for 17 years. In 2004, after years of faithfully saving their resources, they were ready to purchase their very own home. And then misfortune struck.
